In order to drop someone off in front of 5 East 98th Street, you must take Madison Avenue to 101st Street and make a LEFT. Make another LEFT onto 5th Avenue (museum mile) and follow to 98th Street where you will make a LEFT. A parking garage is available on 99th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue. (Make a RIGHT onto 99th Street from Madison Avenue; the garage is closer to Park Avenue.)

From Manhattan's East Side
Take FDR Drive to 96th Street and turn onto East 96th Street. Follow until Madison Avenue. Make a right on Madison Avenue and take to 98th Street Faculty Practice Suites, 5 East 98th Street, 9th floor. 98th Street is a one way street. The entrance to the main hospital building of Mount Sinai Medical Center, Guggenheim Pavilion is located at 100th street.
From Manhattan's West Side
Take West Side Highway to 96th Street Exit. Travel across West 96th Street, through Central Park. Follow East 96th Street to Madison Avenue. Turn left. Mount Sinai Hospital is on 100th Street and Madison Avenue. Dr. Wittig's Office is located on 98th Street (between 5th & Madison Avenue)
From Brooklyn and parts of Queens (Brooklyn Bridge)
Take Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to Brooklyn Bridge Exit. Follow signs to FDR Drive North. Exit FDR Drive at East 96th Street. Follow traffic onto E. 96th Street to Madison Avenue. Turn right on Madison Avenue. Mount Sinai Hospital is at 100th Street and Madison Avenue.
From Brooklyn and Staten Island (Brooklyn Battery Tunnel)
Take Verrazano Bridge (Staten Island only) to Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Follow signs on BQE to Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Turn right out of Tunnel. Take West Street to West Side Highway. Exit at W. 96th Street and follow through Central Park to Madison Avenue. Turn left on Madison Avenue. Mount Sinai Hospital is at 100th Street and Madison Avenue.
From Queens, Long Island and parts of Brooklyn (Triborough Bridge, 59th Street Bridge)
Take Grand Central Parkway (West) to Triborough Bridge to the FDR Drive. Exit at 96th Street. Follow until Madison Avenue. Turn right on Madison Avenue. Mount Sinai Hospital is on 100th Street and Madison Avenue.
From Westchester and New England
Take New England Thruway (95 South) to Triborough Bridge to FDR Drive. Exit at 96th Street and turn right onto E. 96th Street. Follow until Madison Avenue. Turn right on Madison Avenue. Mount Sinai Hospital is on 100th Street and Madison Avenue.
From Upstate New York
Take New York State Thruway (87 South) to Major Deegan Highway (same road). Exit at Willis Avenue Bridge and bear right. Follow signs to FDR Drive. Exit at 96th Street. Turn right at 96th to Madison Avenue. Turn right on Madison Avenue. Mount Sinai Hospital is on 100th Street and Madison Avenue.
From New Jersey
After crossing the George Washington Bridge, take the Henry Hudson Parkway South to the 96th Street Exit. Proceed on 96th Street through Central Park to Madison Avenue. Turn left on Madison Avenue, right on 99th St., and proceed to the Parking Garage.
From Long Island
Take the Long Island Expressway West to the Grand Central Parkway West. Take this to the Tri-Boro Bridge and to the FDR Drive. Take the FDR Drive South to the 96th Street Exit. Make a right onto 96th Street, another right onto Madison Avenue, and yet another right on 99th St., and proceed to the Parking Garage.
From Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel or Staten Island

Go over the Tappan Zee Bridge Westbound towards Rockland County. Take Route 287 (W/S) to the Garden State Parkway, South. Take the Southbound Garden State Parkway to Exit 163, which is Route 17 South. Take Route 17 South to Route 4 East until you approach the Hackensack Avenue/River Edge exit. Follow the ramp off the exit; you now will be on Hackensack Avenue. At the first light, make a left into the Continental Plaza Complex, go up the ramp and make a right into the parking lot behind Building 433.
From Upstate New York (Orange & Dutchess Counties)
Take Route 87 South (NY State Thruway) to Exit 15. Once exiting the Thruway, bear left onto Route 17 South. Stay on Route 17 South until you approach Route 4 East, follow Route 4 East until you approach the Hackensack Avenue/River Edge Exit. Follow the ramp off the exit; you now will be on Hackensack Avenue. At the first light, make a left into the Continental Plaza Complex, go up the ramp and make a right into the parking lot behind Building 433.

Take Route 80 East to the Garden State Parkway North. Get off at Exit 161, which will be Route 4 East. Follow Route 4 East until you approach the Hackensack Avenue/River Edge Exit. From Western or Northern Bergen County
Take either Route 17 South or Route 208 South to Route 4 East. Follow Route 4 East until you approach the Hackensack Avenue/River Edge Exit. Follow the ramp off the exit; you now will be on Hackensack Avenue. At the first light, make a left into the Continental Plaza Complex, go up the ramp and make a right into the parking lot behind Building 433.
From New York City - Via the George Washington Bridge
Take the George Washington Bridge to Route 4 West. Follow Route 4 West until you approach the Hackensack Avenue/River Edge Exit (Riverside Square Mall will be on your right side). Hackensack Avenue will be at the top of the ramp, get into the left lane and at the first light, make a left into the Continental Plaza Complex, go up the ramp and make a right into the parking lot behind Building 433.
From New York City - Via the Lincoln Tunnel - From Hudson County NJ
Take Route 3 West (past Giants Stadium) to Route 17 North. Continue on Route 17 North for about 5 miles until you approach the Route 4 East Exit. Follow Route 4 East until you approach the Hackensack Avenue/River Edge Exit. Follow the ramp off the exit; you now will be on Hackensack Avenue. At the first light, make a left into the Continental Plaza Complex, go up the ramp and make a right into the parking lot behind Building 433.
From Essex, Union, Middlesex and Monmouth Counties (Southeastern NJ)
